In this article, you will learn how to create payment and adjustment codes for use in the patient ledger.
In order to update the patient ledger with patient payments or adjustments, you will need to create a payment code or an adjustment code.
To create a payment or adjustment code:
- Select "Manage Account" from the left-hand side dashboard.
- Select "Setup" from the drop-down list.
- Select "Treatment Codes" from the drop-down sub-list.
- Select the "Payment Adjustment Codes" tab located on the center screen.
- On this page, you are able to view, edit and delete created codes.
- Click the "Add New" button on the right-hand side of the screen. A pop-up window will appear.
- Fill out the pop-up form to completion and click the "Save" button on the bottom right-hand side of the screen to save your code for use on a patient's ledger.
